
Utah Podcast Studio – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Utah Podcast Studio. These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Utah Podcast Studio, including studio bookings, memberships, editing, distribution, social media services, coaching, and any related offerings.
By booking a session, purchasing services, or maintaining an active membership, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Overview
Utah Podcast Studio provides podcast recording, video production, editing, episode distribution, social media clips and posting, coaching, and related creative services.
Services may vary by package or membership tier. Anything not explicitly listed as included is considered an add-on.
2. Payments, Billing & Auto-Pay Authorization
Membership Billing
Memberships are billed every 4 weeks, not calendar monthly.
While pricing may be referred to as “monthly” for simplicity, billing occurs every 4 weeks based on your start date.
Memberships are month-to-month.
Once a billing cycle is charged, no refunds are issued.
Auto-Pay Authorization
By booking services or enrolling in a membership, you authorize Utah Podcast Studio to automatically charge the payment method on file for:
• Membership billing
• Additional sessions
• Overage hours
• Editing or add-on services
• Late cancellations
• Equipment damage or replacement
• Any outstanding balances
No separate approval is required.
If payment fails, Utah Podcast Studio may suspend services and withhold recorded footage or deliverables until payment is resolved.
Membership Overages
If you exceed your included membership services or hours, all additional sessions and overages will be automatically billed at the end of each billing cycle.
3. Membership Cancellation
Memberships may be canceled by calling, texting, or emailing Utah Podcast Studio.
Cancellation stops future billing only.
Already paid billing cycles remain non-refundable.
Unused hours expire 90 days after your final billing cycle.
After cancellation, ongoing support ends, including:
• Distribution changes
• Shownote edits
• Publish date adjustments
• Title updates
4. Booking, Cancellations & Rescheduling (All Sessions)
48-Hour Policy
• Cancel or reschedule 48 hours or more before your session → Full refund or free reschedule
• Inside 48 hours → No refund
If Utah Podcast Studio is able to fill your canceled time slot, a refund may be issued at our discretion.
Late cancellations and no-shows are fully chargeable.
Membership Bookings
For members, the same 48-hour policy applies.
If a member cancels inside the 48-hour window, the booked session still counts toward their included membership hours and cannot be made up.
We strongly recommend having backup content prepared if a guest cancels.
5. Studio Usage & Session Rules
Sessions may be booked in advance or same-day based on availability.
Same-day bookings must be made by calling Utah Podcast Studio directly. Online booking is not available for same-day sessions.
Walk-ins may be accommodated only if studio availability allows.
Session time begins at your scheduled start time—not arrival.
Late arrivals do not extend sessions.
Sessions must end on time if another client is booked after you.
Session extensions are not guaranteed and are granted solely at Utah Podcast Studio’s discretion.
6. Equipment Responsibility & Damages
Clients are not permitted to handle, adjust, or touch studio equipment unless directed by Utah Podcast Studio staff.
All cameras, audio equipment, lighting, and technical setup must be operated by Utah Podcast Studio personnel only.
If a client or guest touches or handles equipment without authorization, they assume full liability for any resulting damage.
Clients are financially responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence. Repair or replacement may be charged at full retail value.
Utah Podcast Studio is authorized to charge the card on file for damages.
Utah Podcast Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
Unauthorized external equipment or operators are not permitted unless approved in writing.
7. Editing Services & Deliverables
Editing tiers and inclusions are defined by your selected package.
Revisions are limited by tier.
No refunds are provided for dissatisfaction with creative results.
Important Editing Rule
If you want content removed automatically during recording, you must clearly say “EDITOR CUT.”
Editors only remove content marked this way. Intent is not assumed.
8. Distribution Services
Distribution includes uploading episodes and AI-assisted shownotes.
Clients must grant Utah Podcast Studio editor access on required platforms.
If no episode title is provided, Utah Podcast Studio will create one.
Clients may edit titles or descriptions after delivery.
Utah Podcast Studio is not responsible for platform changes, account suspensions, copyright strikes, or algorithm performance.
9. Social Media Clips & Posting
Clip selection is handled by Utah Podcast Studio editors based on editorial judgment.
Specific clip requests are not guaranteed.
Posting services are separate from clip creation.
Utah Podcast Studio is not responsible for reach, engagement, account restrictions, or performance results.
10. File Storage & Retention
Raw footage is stored for 30 days after delivery.
Clients are responsible for downloading files promptly.
Files may be permanently deleted after 30 days. Utah Podcast Studio is not liable for lost files beyond this period.
11. Recording Risks & Technical Failures
While we take every precaution, Utah Podcast Studio is not liable for:
• Equipment malfunction
• Corrupted files
• Audio dropouts
• Power outages
• Software failures
Client agrees that recordings are provided “as captured.”
12. Content Ownership & Marketing Rights
Clients retain ownership of their recorded content.
Utah Podcast Studio may use session footage for marketing unless opted out in writing.
If discounted or complimentary services are provided, Utah Podcast Studio retains promotional usage rights.
13. Conduct & Termination
Clients must behave respectfully toward staff and others.
Harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
Utah Podcast Studio reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
14. No Guarantees
We do not guarantee audience growth, downloads, views, monetization, or performance outcomes.
15. Limitation of Liability
Utah Podcast Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
16. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Utah Podcast Studio from claims arising from:
• Client content
• Client conduct
• Use of services
17. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Utah.
Utah law governs all matters.
18. Updates to Terms & Pricing
Terms may be updated at any time.
Pricing changes will be communicated in advance. Active members retain current pricing for 6 months after changes.
Prepaid 6- and 12-month options may be available to lock rates.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the full agreement between Utah Podcast Studio and the client.
